I had a severe sewer blockage. I noticed this Monday. I called and American Rooter scheduled me for the afternoon. Around 2:30 a pleasant helpful technician Stephen stopped by attempting 5 times to snake out my main sewer line to no avail. He told me the office would call me the next day for a water jet treatment. Shortly after 8 am the office called and said they would come out today and hopefully get my family back to using our facilities and not relying on family and McD’s to use the bathroom. I told the office I would be home at 1 from a Dr appointment and very shortly after I arrived home my phone rang and the technicians said they would be at my home in 15 minutes. Daryl and Pat showed up with a machine hooked up to their truck. They came in told me what they were going to do. I asked if it would make a mess and Pat told me no. He was true to his word. He masterfully put the hose into the drain. Found where what we assume was a wad of toilet paper and whatever ungodly thing else was blocked. He pulled out the hose changed the tip to a hi pressure spray and within seconds the water started flowing out of the drain and the awful sewage smell started coming out of the pipe. I have to say I still don’t like that smell but we can now flush our toilets and everyone in the house is happy again. Pat and Stephen were both very good at their jobs and listened intently to the sounds inside the pipe with Pat finally clearing it out with the more complex machinery.
